Ingredients and Substitutions for Making a Peanut Butter Oreo Milkshake

Vanilla Ice Cream For this milkshake, I used this keto Ninja CREAMi vanilla ice cream recipe. But if you have another vanilla ice cream recipe or a favorite brand, feel free to use it in this recipe.
Peanut Butter I used an organic, natural chunky peanut butter in this recipe because I wanted to make sure there wasn’t any extra sugar in the milkshake. Feel free to use a creamy peanut butter, or even one with added sugar if you prefer.
Mini Oreo Cookies You can really use any chocolate sandwich cookie in this recipe, they don’t have to be Oreos. There are several store brands, and even gluten free and vegan varieties, so use your favorite. But Oreos are my favorite, and since they offer a “mini” variety, I prefer using them. If you use regular sized chocolate sandwich cookies, break them up into smaller pieces before adding them to the machine.

How to make it low carb Both peanut butter and Oreos have lots of carbs, but you can lower the carb count with a couple substitutions. Using a peanut butter that doesn’t have any added sugar can lower the amount of carbs. Also, using these keto chocolate sandwich cookies instead of Oreos will lower the carb count in the recipe.
