Ingredients & Swaps
- Orange juice – use orange juice with no added sugar and not from concentrate
- Milk – may sub in plant based milk, but consistency and taste may change
- Heavy whipping cream – may sub in coconut cream
- Sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Orange zest (optional)
How to Make This Ninja CREAMi Orange Creamsicle Recipe
Step 1 Combine the orange juice, milk, and heavy whipping cream in a large glass measuring cup or mixing bowl.
Step 2 Add the sugar, vanilla, and orange zest if using, and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 3 Pour the mixture into a Ninja CREAMi container. Snap the lid on and freeze for at least 24 hours.
Step 4 Process on the ICE CREAM setting, and RESPIN if necessary to get your preferred consistency.
Ninja CREAMi Orange Creamsicle Ice Cream
Orange juice, milk, cream, sugar and vanilla mix up into this creamy, smooth orange creamsicle ice cream, made in the Ninja CREAMi ice cream machine.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups orange juice
- 2/3 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- OPTIONAL: Zest of 1 orange
Instructions
- Combine the milk, heavy whipping cream, and orange juice in a mixing bowl. Add the sugar and vanilla and stir until the sugar is dissolved. If using, add the orange zest.
- Pour the mixture into a clean Ninja CREAMi container, making sure not to go over the max fill line. Freeze for at least 24 hours.
- Once frozen, process on the ICE CREAM setting. Respin if necessary to achieve the desired consistency. Enjoy!
